I've used Google Calendar before, but I now feel much more comfortable with it after the course. I appreciate that the calendar is user friendly. Having various ways to make and edit an event make the system simple for anyone to use. I personally like the option of repeating events, because I can mark the times I'm busy teaching and put those times on repeat Monday-Friday.
I also found that my guided reading groups from Google Classroom transferred automatically to Google Calendar, which was exciting. In this, I can use the calendar to plan which days and times I will meet with my groups to stay organized.
In the future, I would like to have my students use Google Calendar to see when homework assignments are due and plan for their own lives. I'm still wondering what other tools I can play with to enhance my Google experience.
